Short, because there isn't much.

This site collects as little as it can get away with. Here's what that means in practice.

Who this covers

Extension is a trading division of Web Hero Limited, which is the data controller for anything collected through this site.

What we collect, and why

The contact form. When you send the form we receive your name, your email address, your company if you give it, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep track of the conversation. That's the only reason we ask for it.

Basic site analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages get read. This is aggregated and doesn't identify you.

Nothing else. No newsletter list, no advertising pixels, no selling or renting of anything to anyone.

Where it goes

Form submissions are delivered to a private workspace we use to run the business. The site itself is hosted by a third-party provider, who processes the data needed to serve pages to you. We don't transfer your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within twelve months. If we work together, records are kept for as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting obligations require.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form and we'll deal with it promptly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

The site doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising. Any that exist are strictly needed to make the site work.
